Meditation for Connecting With Your Guide
Lay on your bed or another safe place. Position yourself on your back with your arms at
your side and your palms facing up. Allow your feet to gently fall outward. Shift your body
slightly until you are in perfect alignment. Starting with your toes, relax every muscle as
you work up to your forehead. Feel the release of all tension.
Allow yourself to connect with your guide by welcoming him or her.
Say in your mind or aloud, “I welcome you and I want your guidance.”
Be still and with your eyes closed feel the presence of your guide. He or she may touch a
certain part of your body, your forehead or your shoulder. You may feel an energy
present next to you or behind you. Stay with this for a while and just soak in this feeling of
communion.
As you feel more relaxed, ask your guide to show you images in your mind. With your
eyes closed stare at the fuzz you see behind your eyelids. Focus on the middle and let
the fuzz change color and form. As the images appear, let them change and just observe
them. It is fine if you cannot identify them. Just let them flow through your mind.
Now is a good time to ask any questions you may have. Ask them gently in your mind.
The response may come in the form of a picture as you were just seeing, or you may hear
words. The response will be sudden and may seem to overlap with your question. Your
guide's answer will be heard in your voice, as it sounds to hear yourself in your head. This
is natural. Your guide will never shout, but be succinct and gentle.
Continue to feel good, relaxed and ask any question you wish. You can do this as often
as you want, but know that your guide is always with you when you want him/her to be.
And you can benefit from them at anytime, not just in meditation.
